How the reading is built
This calculator compares two people through two old systems that come at the same question from different angles. The Chinese zodiac reads your birth year and the animal attached to it; the Western zodiac reads your birth date and the sun sign it falls under. We name the relationship the tradition already defines, and we leave the percentages to the sites that invent them.
A reading is a starting point for a conversation, not a verdict. Plenty of strong relationships sit on a “combustible” pairing, and plenty of easy matches go nowhere. The value is in what it helps you notice about how two people fit.
